Used this heavy duty paint stripper on an old but very well made powder coated ornate metal gate that had been previously painted(badly)... seemed a shame to bin it.... it took 5 coats but came up 95% back to bare metal.. best stuff I've used for powder coat which is notoriously hard to remove without sand blasting or chemicals that are specialist use only and need licences etc. Will happily buy other products from buzzweld as and when needed

I bought 2 of these heavy duty paint stripper to remove powder coating from a set of alloys. Did 3 coats. It worked very well. I let it sit for at least 30 mins and then jet washed off and it worked. Will definitely buy again.
I bought this stuff to remove powder coating on a some car parts. Although it was effective eventually it did require some time to work. I ended up putting on several very thick layers ensuring that it did not dry out. Consequently I used quite a lot of it. It helps considerably if you scrape through the surface and then remove anything which reacts quickly with a scraper. I also found it more effective to use a stiff wire brush on awkward areas. Some more detailed best practice guides, Utube videos available on the site would help considerably.

this is the best stripper i have used it starts working extremely fast and keeps working if you keep adding more coats. It even softens old body filler so you can scrape it out. A real time saver.
Stripping of Powder Coating Just wanted to share with you some excellent feedback about the paint stripper. I applied the paint stripper today on two top mud guard checker plate panels. The results were astounding to say the least. Buzzweld heavy duty stripper flaked the powder coating in minutes, allowing me to very easily remove the remnants of the powder coating using a mild force with a steel brush. There were of course the odd small spots that required a second application. After that and with simple brushing using a steel brush, the checker plate panels were spotless shiny stainless steel. Sadly I was so excited about all this that I forgot to take pictures.I applied a coat of Acid etch and started painting these panels with CIO satin finish. Am planning to apply two other coats before fitting back again.
worked on taking new powder coat off alloy wheels.
