Why Is it called a "jubilee Clip"
The name "Jubilee" was trademarked in 1921 when the first worm drive fasteners were patented by Commander Lumley Robinson. Founder of L Robinson and Company (the parent of Jubilee Ltd) still operates from the UK today in Gillingham. The name Jubilee is of Unknown source, despite many ideas none of which can be substantiated.
