All our original Jubilee® Clips are independently tested by the British Standards Institute (BSi) and carry the British Standard Kitemark™, which is universally regarded as the most stringent standard there is for a hose clip. Both grades of stainless steel clips are also accredited by Lloyds Register for marine use.

Why Is it called a "jubilee Clip"
The name "Jubilee" was trademarked in 1921 when the first worm drive fasteners were patented by Commander Lumley Robinson. Founder of L Robinson and Company (the parent of Jubilee Ltd) still operates from the UK today in Gillingham. The name Jubilee is of Unknown source, despite many ideas none of which can be substantiated.

How do i measure what size Jubilee clip i need?
Using a piece of string, wrap the straing around the pipe. Mark the string. lay the string straight and flat, and measure the distance between the marks you just made. Divide that number by 3.142. This is the size jubilee clip you need.
How strong are hose clamps?
Jubilee Clamps can take up to 25NM of torque in the Superclamps range, anmd will provide a stable even clamping pressure at that rate
What are jubilee clips?
Originally jubilee clips were worm driven metal bands in 1921 when they were first made. There are many types of jubilee clip now, however most are based around that original design of a metal ring that shrinks to clamp something in place (originally designed to clamp a hose onto a fitting.
What type of hose clamp should i use?
Hose clamps can be broken down into several categories. The jubilee clip range consists of
  1. Superclamps- The highest pressure and strongest clips available, often used on intercooler piping, and higher pressure water pipes.
  2. Original Jubilee Clip- A commonly used, strong clip, used for lower pressure requirements such as car cooling pipework.
  3. Junior Jubilee Clip- Very good for smaller diamter pipes of lower pressure such as low pressure feed fuel lines.
  4. P Clips- High quality P Clips for securing pipes and hoses to surfaces.
  5. Wingspan Clip- Easily adjustable and removeable clips by hand for things like cone air filters.
  6. High Torque Jubilee Clip a good option for using higher quality, and heavier duty clips as an alternative to the Original Jubilee Clip.
How do i fit my hose clamp?
To fit a hose clamp
  1. Unscrew the clamp so that it is larger than the hose.
  2. Slide the clamp over the hose.
  3. Fit the hose to the fitting, and then slide the clamp over the raised fimps behind the swage.
  4. Holding the clamp in place, tighten the clamp and ensure no leaks are present.
  5. Be careful not to over tighten the clamp, and torque to the correct rating.
