NOTE:- GIO naturally thickens over time. So it is advised you have a little thinner on hand. This is especially relevant for the schutz tins, as sometimes they will need a little help to spray if the batch is slightly older. Our batches are not mass produced for this reason, and are made in Bristol to keep tock as fresh as possible.
Recommended quantities.
90 chassis 10 aerosols or 2.5 liters tinned or 4 schultz tins
110 chassis 12 aerosols or 5 liters.

1000ML Schutz Undercoating Tin
Stubby Schutz Tin. These tins work with our FX10 Spraygun & FX11 Spraygun. The gun screws directly on. To use a normal Schutz gun with a stubby schutz tin, you need to trim the pickup tube 75mm shorter.

Normal paint tin for brush / roller / thinning and spraying
400ML Aerosol (traditional)
Traditional aerosol.
400ML Buzzweld Powercan The Aerosol powercan uses NO THINNER. as a result the can outputs the same amount of paint as a spraygun. This means less coats, a much higher film build and time saved. HOWEVER- the cans empty themselves very quickly. Protection VS coverage. When using a powercan you need to spray from further away. This can can also be used as a textured spray (comes with two nozzles).

Fantastic product, does what it says on the tin and gives a great flat finish. Painted a new galv chassis just pre wash with fxdegreaser and rinse. Scuff up with some scotchbrite and spray. Used schuzt at 60psi. 2 coats finished in no time.

Purchased 1 litre of Portofino Red tinted GIO for my new Defender 90 Ultra Bulkhead. I thinned with 20% thinners using suction spray gun at 60 psi. This has given a great base coat in the finished colour, I applied two coats and still have 500ml (thinned) left over. The two coats have resulted in an overall fine texture finish with sufficient build to flatten off the external visually exposed surfaces in preparation for the final 1k top coat.

Time saver. Just clean up your chassis with degreaser and rough up with scotch-brite then spray, no need to etch prime or T-wash. Good finish.

ORDERED GIO, AFTER A FRIENDS RECOMENDATION , THE PRODUCT IS PRICED IN LINE WITH, OTHERS I HAVE USED, IT ARRIVED PROMPTLY, WELL PACKAGED. NOW HAD CHANCE TO APPLY IT , I WARMED IT AS SUGGESTED , THIS ALLOWED IT TO FLOW NICELY, I MANAGED TO PUT TWO VERY THOROUGH COATS, ON A NEW 110 CHASSIS , WITH EXACTLY FOUR LITRES. PLEASED WITH THE APPEARANCE.

Cracking product which once dry looks smart. Was a little thick and needed to be thinned, but has dried nice. I would suggest you buy a decent schultz gun with a more adjustable fan, mine didn't really cut it and has left a bit of a spackled finish, although it does look quite tough.

I decided that I would paint my chassis and use T wash, etch primer AND a brand of paint which begins with a common hand tool also known as a persuader or tapping stick. Then decided I would hunt around for a direct to galv paint. Boy did I make the right decision.
The paint arrived the following day (ordered Thursday morning, arrived Friday as I paid for next day delivery) as I wanted to get cracking on the weekend.
Now I didn't thin or tamper with the product, I used a paintbrush to apply direct from the tin. Real thick consistency and sticks to the surface like a dream...people please follow the guidance on the second coat as I noticed if you rush to apply it, you will find it'll cause the first to lift.
I applied three coats on a 110 chassis and I still have one third of a 5L tin left. I applied thin coats but I I tend to apply another two to ensure my chassis is fully encapsulated. Little and often seems to do the trick. The painted chassis took a knock after I tried to persuade a coil spring to seat properly and it didn't flake or lift...proper job 👍
Overall I can't believe how well this product performed.

Delivery & returns
DELIVERY
All orders are sent to be delivered to you or a neighbour. By Ordering you are accepting responsibility for the delivery location. If this is not acceptable then you MUST leave a note on your order specifying signature only. We do not ship all orders for signature as most people are not available all day to take delivery.We send all orders with DHL.
Cut off time for same day dispatch is 12pm.
Please supply a mobile number to assist the courier.
DHL will attempt delivery twice, after this you may be charged an addition fee.
All orders will only be sent if the billing address matches the card details.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery.
We can not be held responsible for any delays caused by DHL.

RETURNS
We offer a 30 day money back return policy on all goods returned in un-used condition and original packaging. Unfortunately we can not offer refunds or exchange on mixed colours or aerosols to order.
All items must be returned to qualify for a refund. Upon receipt of your item we will check the item and notify you if we are able to process a refund by phone or email within 3 working days.
Once we have despatched your goods (or if you have collected them), you can return them for a full refund (including standard delivery charges) within 30 days of delivery (or collection) without giving a reason, as long as they are with their original packaging and unused. You will be responsible for returning the goods to us (and have to pay any costs involved) and we are allowed to reduce your refund if there is any damage to the goods caused by you handling them. We will make all refunds to the credit card, debit card or PayPal account used to place your order and we will pay you within 14 days of us receiving the goods you have sent them back to us.
Colours
We will make your colour to specification, however, when added to different products the colours will be represented differently. As an example Ral3020 in Raptor, 2K Direct Gloss, Basecoat, and GIO side by side will all be DIFFERENT, even though they are made with EXACTLY the same tint. Variance issues are non refundable. Please call us if you have any concerns. We do also try and filter out these issues by inspecting your order. Metallic colours are strongly affected
Cancellations
All cancellations must be provided as soon as possible via phone contact only. We cannot always view emails / messages in a timely manner. Your order can be cancelled on 01454315588 mon>fri 06:30>14:30. Custom orders such as non stock items, and colours are made to order. If you wish to cancel an order that has a custom item on it, and we have already made it, We will not be able to refund for that item because we cannot return it to "stock".
